The San Benito EDC is a type b economic development corporation that has been in existence for the past 26 years and continuously serves the community of San Benito, TX. We take pride in being the 57th largest EDC in the state of Texas! (out of 512 that exist through out the state).
This EDC understands that business opportunities are not a one size fits all, therefore, we are open to strategically help small business owners, investors, developers, & entrepreneurs be successful and sustainable in our community.
Mission Statement
To promote, support and foster economic development within the San Benito community through new industry recruitment, business retention and expansion, business innovation, new business startups and entrepreneurship.
Vision Statement
To work collaboratively with the San Benito’s leadership for the purpose of creating a vibrant, innovative and diversified city of choice for the City of San Benito’s visitors and residents.
