Mayor Ricardo Guerra and the City of San Benito have won their appeal concerning a case filed by Julian Rios.
Wayne Dolcefino paid $5,000 in the same case for the injunction bond.
The appellate court's opinion reversed the presiding judge’s injunction against Mayor Guerra and the City of San Benito. The appeals court also concluded that Julian Rios lacked probable right to relief on the merits.
Julian Rios filed a request for an injunction on October 17, 2024 against Mayor Guerra and the City of San Benito that challenged the city’s charter amendments election.
The opinion by the court of appeals validates the actions of San Benito elected officials and San Benito voters.
The court’s opinion found that Mayor Guerra and the City of San Benito:
🔹Did NOT violate the Texas Open Meetings Act.
🔹Should not have been ordered by the presiding judge to disregard votes cast.
Well hopefully the truth will come out. First Chuy Garcia JP, sided with Varco. Maybe because Rosana, Chuy Aguilera's wife is related to Chuy Garcia , and she was his Campaign Treasurer. We all know Chuy , Julian always run to Judge Euriste . I'm always reading up on everything and ask questions. Again, why don't the people ask the EDC to produce the contract that shows Varco violated the contract. This is what the city is claiming well then the City should show it to the people.
I also keep reading that Julian states he feels the city is doing wrong. Well if that's the case, why doesn't he along with Dolcefino, and the rest of the clowns go to the FBi or Texas Rangers . They rather run to FB. It's been one year since they claimed the city is stuck in power. I figured they would bring in the state or federal by now . 🤔
Why are the people not talking about Julian filing a law suit to the city for $ 100,000 grand. Ohh but he's watching out for the city yaaa sure buddy. My question is why are these people so bitter, and stuck with trying to make the city look bad . They are the cause for tax payers money being used to pay attorneys for the Varco case.
