Opening Reception Announcement: Mixta Cultura
The San Benito Cultural Center invites the community to the opening reception for Mixta Cultura, a group exhibition guest curated by Souther Recio of Cactus Valley Art.
This exhibition brings together artists connected to CVA and highlights a dynamic range of contemporary voices from across Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. Featuring painting, sculpture, installation, and interactive media, Mixta Cultura explores themes of identity, border narratives, mental health, and women’s rights.
The evening will also feature a special DJ set by Chulita Vinyl Club, bringing music and energy to the celebration.
